About the Training School & Lead Teacher
At Aum Yoga Vietnam, one belief guides everything: “Yoga is for all”. With a variety of yoga classes, Aum Yoga Vietnam offers an inclusive practice for beginners to advanced practitioners with all levels and abilities with personalized attention to each student.
Aum Yoga Vietnam was founded in 2019 by 500-hr certified yoga teacher Rahul Chamoli. Rahul has led yoga teacher trainings in Hoi An, Da Nang, Saigon and India for over two years.
Using ink and paper, Rahul can be described limitedly as a registered yoga instructor but this doesn’t tell his story about how yoga has changed his life over the last five years taking him from a chef in he Maldives to cozy studio owner in Hoi An.
Rahul is from Rishikesh, India - the birthplace of yoga. Leaving India, he packed his passion and spirit of yoga to come to Hoi An - the beautiful ancient town in center of Vietnam where he shares his passion and spirit to thousands of friends from all over the world.
His experience includes roles as the main teacher for many teacher training courses in both Vietnam and India. He carries the belief of self-observation in non-stop practicing which helps him put himself in the students’ shoes to understand them and guide classes.
Keeping on track with his life goal, he opened his cozy studio named Aum Yoga Vietnam in Hoi An in 2019 to share and inspire people by his bright and strong energy, unique sequences, variations and adjustments to offer authentic and original yoga to balance and create harmony in chaos.
