Each day will start with mindful movement, focused on bringing awareness and harmony to the body-mind connection. This morning activity will anchor you into your breath, setting a gentle, self-compassionate tone for the day.
Following a delicious breakfast, experience a guided workshop followed by time for self-reflection. This will allow you to evaluate steps you can realistically integrate immediately into your busy life, to increase gratitude, joy and awareness in every day.
After another flavoursome meal, join the retreat group for a supportive discussion to share intentions set from the morning, and how you anticipate these will impact on your life moving forwards. Spend the afternoon in quiet contemplation with optional, independent activities to complete should you wish.
Dinner will be served on the sunset balcony and followed by an evening meditation. On the Saturday evening, noble silence will be observed from the end of the meditation until the start of breakfast the following morning.
Workshops and evening meditations will be led by retreat host, reiki master and sound bowl practitioner, Naomi Rowan.
Daily Schedule Example
6:30 - 7:45am - Morning Yoga
9:30 - 12:30pm - Meditation Workshop & Discussion (topics include “Connection, grounding, manifesting and removing obstacles”, "Gratitude, healing relationships, self love and compassion", and "Intuition, grounding, decision making and moving forwards")
1pm - Lunch
Afternoon - Optional independent guided activities and reflection time
5pm - Discussion
6pm - Dinner
7.30pm - Evening meditation. Noble silence observed until breakfast.

Formally a music teacher and pastoral leader of 12 years, my ‘previous’ life was focused on bringing young people into alignment with themselves, developing confidence, nurturing self-worth and enabling children to find their creative energies, so often quashed by the ‘need to achieve and succeed’.
Having taken a leap of faith and left a stable career to pursue a lifetime passion for mindfulness, meditation and energetic healing modalities I am now a Reiki Master/Teacher, Sound Bowl practitioner and retreat leader, and fortunate to be in a position to combine the tools and experience of the teaching profession with my core beliefs and practices.
Trauma informed and trauma aware, I have read, digested and assimilated current and historic writings surrounding the concept of the body-mind connection, whether neuroscientific, energetic, physiological or psychological. I believe that modern science is only now beginning touch the surface of ancient wisdom and through engagement in daily awareness of our thoughts, bodily sensations, intuition, actions and reactions, we are able to retrain our habitual patterns into a life of gratitude, love and compassion towards self and other.
Through my own journey, I have explored various modalities and found many tools along the way that enable individual empowerment. All of our retreats are carefully planned and tailored to ensure a gentle, yet powerful journey of self, and time to explore how these take-away tools can be incorporated and embedded into your daily life once you leave the safe bubble of ‘time out’.
